Through the utilization of color, typesetting, and composition elements to enhance visual hierarchy and readability. This project required me to analyze the typographic traits and qualities of the Typeface Signifier.

The goal of this project was to design a magazine spread that communicated the visual qualities and history of the typeface Signifier.

Designed by Klim Type Foundry, Signifier challenges modern ideas of materiality through its brutalist influence. Removed from the physical context of architecture, Signifier captures the raw qualities of brutalist construction while remaining unique within its medium of typography.
